According to the Ministry of the Environment’s decree on the fire safety of buildings, the principal designer, building designer, and special designers must, within the scope of their duties, ensure that the building meets the essential technical requirements for fire safety in accordance with its intended use. Under the Land Use and Building Act, the party initiating a building project must ensure that the building is designed and constructed to be fire-safe in accordance with its intended use.
The inspection document for compliance with fire safety regulations and design requirements is part of the overall quality plan for the construction project and the site inspection documentation. The party initiating the project may, if desired, integrate the inspection points included in the document into their own quality plan or use the document as such. The project owner is responsible for ensuring that the construction site inspection document is always prepared on a project-specific basis.
