Verification of product conformity

The Land Use and Building Act, which entered into force in 2000, requires the use of an inspection record in construction projects. Part A1 of the Finnish National Building Code (2006) further specifies that this also applies to verifying the conformity of construction products. With the increasing use of CE marking, it is reasonable to adopt a systematic approach to verifying product conformity in all construction projects.

Rakennusteollisuus RT, together with RAKLI, LVI-Tekninen Urakoitsijat, SKOL, ATL, and building control authorities, has developed the following electronic tool to facilitate the verification of product conformity in construction projects:

Rakennustuotelomakkeen ohje Versio 2.2 (added 14.12.2020)

Tarkastusasiakirjan liitelomake rakennustuotteet Versio 3.3 (added 22.4.2026)

Product conformity data can be efficiently collected, verified, and approved using the Product Information Management service.

An up-to-date chemical inventory, handover documentation, and support for environmental reporting are also generated in real time.
