You can expand the Ratu Costs and CO₂e service with the Space Calculation Module, a tool designed for comparing alternatives and preparing cost estimates during the project planning phase of building construction projects. At present, the Space Calculation Module can be used to calculate costs for apartment buildings, row houses, semi detached houses and assisted living facilities. The application is currently being developed, and additional building types will be added in the future.

You can quickly assess the costs of different alternatives and plan how to achieve your cost targets.
The Space Calculation Module enables you to see the impact of factors such as building shape, number of floors and apartment mix on overall project costs.
The cost plan helps guide designers and keep your project within budget.

The Space Calculation Module speeds up the estimation of costs for different alternatives and helps ensure that cost targets are met

From the Space Calculation Module, you can export a group level space calculation to the Ratu Costs and CO₂e service, where you can review and adjust the cost estimate at building component and input level.
Ratu Costs and CO₂e uses predefined structures whose costs are based on the annual average labor prices and material prices from manufacturers and importers. Work duration is determined using Ratu productivity data.
